Buy Valcambi Silver

Valcambi SA is one of Switzerland's four most prominent precious metals refineries. The refinery is located in the south of Switzerland, in Balerna. Valcambi manufacture a range of precious metals products for individuals looking to buy gold, silver, platinum or palladium, as part of their precious metals refining business. Valcambi bars are very popular, and the refinery recently added to their line of precious metals products by introducing their 'combibar' line of gold, silver, platinum and palladium bars. Valcambi also produce investment precious metals bars for Credit Suisse, one of Switzerland's largest banks.

Valcambi Silver Bars

Valcambi silver bars are sold in a range of sizes, however the most popular bars are 100 gram and 1 kilogram sizes. Valcambi silver bars are generally not available in ounce denominations, as they are predominantly sold into the European market.

The smaller sizes Valcambi silver bars, including the 100 gram silver bars, feature the bar's weight, fineness and serial number located beneath the Valcambi logo. Each bar is sold in its own certicard. The reverse of the bar features the valcambi logo, with a repeating valcambi hallmark design.

Valcambi also sell a 1 Kilogram silver bar, which is available either as a minted or an extruded silver bar. The 1 kilogram minted Valcambi silver bar is the most popular Valcambi silver bar currently available, and this bar is very popular among investors looking to buy silver bars in Europe. Like the smaller sized Valcambi bars, these larger silver bars feature the Valcambi logo, with the weight, fineness and serial number of the bar located beneath. All Valcambi silver bars contain 999 fine investment grade silver bullion.

The Valcambi Combibar Series

One of the most recent products that has been released by Valcambi is the combibar series. These combibars are hugely popular. They were initially released as a response to the impending Euro crisis that hit Europe in 2011. The idea behind the combibar design is that a gold, silver, platinum or palladium bar can be broken off into segregated 'wafers' that could be used to purchase items in the event of economic collapse. The bars were also designed to fit into a wallet.

Valcambi released two versions of the combibar in silver. One contains 10 x 10 gram silver wafer pieces. The second contains 100 x 1 gram silver wafer pieces. Each of the individual wafers contained within the bar features the Valcambi logo, wiith the bar's weight, fineness, and the metal type. These bars come individually sealed in their own plastic certicard, but can be broken off if necessary.
